Lengthening and correction of femur after growth arrest.
Doctor: S. Robert Rozbruch
Patient: Bobby
Bobby sustained damage to his femur growth plate that led to an 8 cm (3.5 inch) leg length discrepancy and a knock knee (valgus) deformity. Using a Taylor Spatial Frame, we lengthened and straightened his leg 3.5 inches. Post surgery, Bobby has symmetrical legs and is back to all activities including running and football.
