This is a excerpt from a lecture Dr. Robert Rozbruch gave in Japan in March of 2016, about evolution of limb lengthening and complex reconstruction surgery, specifically as applies to humeral lengthening. The PRECICE internal nail allows us to correct arm length discrepancy without an external fixator, which is much easier on the patient and leaves fewer scars.
