Repair of femoral nonunion with deformity below hip replacement
Doctor: S. Robert Rozbruch
Patient: Roberta
Pre-Op: Roberta sustained a fracture of her femur below her hip replacement. Despite surgery at another hospital the femur did not heal and she was in a lot of pain, unable to walk and had a large varus deformity.
Follow Up: Her nonunion was repaired with a locking plate and bone graft. This corrected the deformity and leg length discrepancy. She is now able to be active without pain or limitation.
